The U.S. neutralized the man who shot at the airbase

A man fired at Corpus Christi Aviation Base in Texas and was neutralized, the base is closed, reports KRIS 6 News with reference to the base message.

The U.S. Navy reported on Twitter that they knew about the incident at the base.

“We are aware of reports of a possible active attacker at Corpus Christi Aviation Base,” the U.S. Navy Twitter reported.

Later, representatives of the airbase reported that the shooting took place at about 06.15 local time.

“The shooter was neutralized,” reads the air base report on Facebook.

It is reported that the base remains closed, with emergency services and representatives of local law enforcement agencies working on site.
