The U.S. suspects the head of WHO has ties to China

In the U.S., the head of WHO, Tedros Adan Gebreisus, has close ties with Beijing.

According to U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Gebreisus could have lobbied for Beijing’s interests even before the coronavirus pandemic.

The head of the State Department noted that the WHO head’s ties with China are deeply worrying.

Meanwhile, Pompeo did not provide any details in support of his statement.
