U.S. Air Force aircraft delivered a shipment of ventilators
U.S. authorities will send a thousand ventilators to Brazil to help fight the new coronavirus epidemic, the U.S. National Security Council said.
“The U.S. administration will send Brazil a thousand ventilators from the American people to help the country with its medical needs. The U.S. recognizes the determined efforts of the Brazilian government (in the fight against the epidemic – ed.) and will soon strengthen our partnership in defense and trade,” the agency said on Twitter.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump suspended entry to the country for foreigners who have visited Brazil over the past 14 days, where the rapid growth of coronavirus diseases has begun.
