The United States has allowed people to walk outdoors without masks because of a decrease in the incidence of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
According to Reuters, this decision was made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Specifically, masks are allowed to be waived at train stations for citizens who are waiting for a train or bus, as well as in the airport courtyard.
Nevertheless, the need to wear personal protective equipment in confined spaces has not yet been abandoned in the U.S., nor in transportation. Vaccination status has no effect on these rules.
