The US government intends to deprive John Bolton of proceeds from the sale of memoirs, which became resonant even before publication. This was stated by White House spokeswoman Kaylee McKinani. She emphasized that the court did not block the publication solely because part of the circulation had already been distributed, but admitted that the former presidential aide had jeopardized US national security.
Donald Trump previously stated on Twitter that Bolton must bear a very serious responsibility for publishing his memoirs. A federal court in the Metropolitan District of Columbia today rejected the Justice Department’s lawsuit banning the publication of Bolton’s book, the content of which has already partially hit the press.
