The U.S. military conducted an Emerald Flag exercise in Florida, aimed, in particular, at practicing tactics of fighting against Russian equipment, Defense Blog reported.
The publication showed a slide from a U.S. Air Force presentation showing Russian air defense systems S-400, Su-34 fighter-bombers and submarines as “enemy targets”.
The authors of the article also report that the Americans used samples of Russian T-72 tanks in the exercise.
It is noted that the U.S. used ground and air weapons, as well as satellite and computer technologies to “prepare for the battle of the 21st century.
Russian military expert Konstantin Sivkov said in a conversation with the Vzglyad newspaper that the demonstration exercise had little to do with actual combat operations. He emphasized that the S-400 is the most powerful missile system in the world, and the Su-34 is considered one of the best bombers.
