Vincenzo and Olga Molino (82 and 83 years) lived in the suburbs of Milan. They got to know each other when they were 18 years old and moved to Milan in 1957.

According to one of the couple’s granddaughters, on September 26th the spouses celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary.

“They didn’t go out, they were very careful, my grandfather went only to the grocery store and the pharmacy, unfortunately, they got sick,” said my granddaughter.

She also noted that pensioners were ill for about ten days, all this time they had a high fever. However, the doctor never came to them: the spouses were prescribed antibiotics, saying that they had the flu.

On November 11, a couple were hospitalized in Monza city hospital. By this time the level of saturation of blood with oxygen at Vincenzo was 68%, at Olga – 86%.

At the hospital they were placed in different wards, but according to the newspaper, Olga asked her to bring her husband’s jacket to feel that he was there.

A few days later they died with a difference of one hour.
