Popular Hollywood actor Tom Hanks and singer Billy Porter will help to conduct a fundraising campaign to turn the Tree of Life synagogue in the American city of Pittsburgh into an anti-racism center.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Woolf and the wife of the late TV show host Fred Rogers, Joanne Rogers, will be members of the “cabinet” in support of the Tree of Life building, where the militant killed 11 Jews in 2018.
“Through these efforts and with the support of people from all walks of life, we will turn a place of hatred and tragedy into a place of hope, memory and enlightenment,” Rabbi Jeffrey Myers commented.
It is specified that the funds for the project are collected through a campaign called “Remember. Recover. Update.
