“We are now working with Russia on a non-proliferation agreement, a nuclear non-proliferation agreement. If we achieve something like that, it would be great, ”said the American leader.

The most recent strategic stability talks between the two countries took place on June 22 in Vienna. Russia and the United States discussed the extension of the Treaty on the Reduction of Strategic Offensive Arms. During the consultations, the sides discussed, among other things, maintaining stability and predictability in the context of the termination of the Treaty on the Elimination of Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles after the US withdrawal.
