Trump called "sick" live

Leading American television station MSNBC Mika Brzezinski called President Donald Trump “sick” on the air.

Criticism of the TV presenter concerned Trump’s words about the number of coronavirus infected in the country. America accounts for 31% of infected COVID-19 of the total number worldwide, while Trump believes that this indicator is “good” because effective testing is being conducted in the country. The journalist called this situation a “humanitarian catastrophe” and stated that with competent decisions all this could have been avoided.

Mika Brzezinski, MSNBC host: “These are the words of a sick person. Donald, you are a sick man. “You are not able to cope with this gigantic humanitarian disaster, you only aggravated it and continue to aggravate it, and you don’t even wear a mask to protect other people from your own infection.”

Mika Brzezinski also said that Trump is constantly trying to “turn the arrows” and “write all sorts of nonsense” on Twitter – in particular, about her husband Joe Scarborough, who used to be a member of the House of Representatives, and now is involved in journalism and often criticizes the president’s actions.

Brzezinski added that she considers Trump “spiteful and disgusting.”

According to the latest official data, in the United States more than 1.57 million people became infected with coronavirus and over 94 thousand people died.

The epidemic caused record unemployment in the country. The full recovery of the American economy may drag on until the end of next year.
