Trump explained his loss in the election

Former U.S. President Donald Trump explained his loss in the presidential election. He wrote about it on Twitter.

According to him, he received few votes because of errors in the voting machines. “There’s such strong deviations that it’s just ridiculous. You can take a resounding election victory and make it a defeat by a narrow margin. That shouldn’t happen in the United States,” Trump believes.

On December 15, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated new U.S. President Joe Biden on his election victory. The Russian leader expressed confidence that Moscow and Washington “can, despite their differences, really help solve the many problems and challenges the world is facing right now.”

Biden won the electoral college votes needed to win the presidency. He received 55 electoral votes in the state of California, thus gaining 302 votes. In order to win the presidential race he needed to get 270 electoral votes. The Democrat called the electoral college’s decision a clear victory for him over then current head of state Donald Trump.
