Trump is 74 years old

Today is the birthday of US President Donald Trump – he turns 74 years old

At the age of 70, a former businessman took the highest state post in the United States, becoming the oldest elected head of state. Only Ronald Reagan can be compared to him, who was elected president for a second term, also at 73 years old. In addition, Trump is the first American president who did not hold a single state or military post before entering the White House.

Donald became the third president in US history to undergo an impeachment procedure (judicial prosecution procedure with possible removal from office): he was accused of abuse of power, but acquitted in all respects.

But most importantly, Donald Trump is the only president who refused wages and agreed to a salary of $ 1.

Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946 in one of the districts of New York. His father was originally a builder, then a developer, he was involved in the development and implementation of residential projects for middle-class representatives in Queens, Staten Island and Brooklyn.

As a teenager, his parents sent Donald to study at the New York Military Academy, where he managed to achieve great success. At the time of graduation in 1964, he was a brilliant athlete and stood out for his absolute leadership qualities among other students. After graduating from the academy, Trump Jr. entered Fordham University, but after a short time transferred to the Wharton Financial School at the University of Pennsylvania, which he graduated in 1968.

At the end, Donald got a job in his father’s company, where in 1975 he took over as president and changed the name of the company to The Trump Organization.

In 27 films and TV series, Trump played episodic roles: including “Home Alone 2”, “Studio 54”, “Sex and the City”.

In mid-June 2015, the then-businessman Trump officially announced that he had decided to nominate himself for the highest state post in the United States. On May 20, 2016, he managed to gather a sufficient number of delegates to nominate a candidate for the post of president of the Republican Party. On July 18 of the same year, Trump was approved as an official contender at a congress of political power.

Gaining 306 electoral votes from the states, he triumphed on November 8, overtaking Hillary Clinton, despite almost three million more Americans voting for her.

Trump is married three times: from 1977 to 1992 – to Ivan Zelnichkova, from 1993 to 1999 – to Marle Maples, and from 2004 – to Melanie Knavs (or Melanie Trump).

Donald has 5 children (Donald Jr., Ivanka, Eric, Tiffany and Barron) and 8 grandchildren.
