Trump party supporters compare him to cancer and want to vote for Biden

A number of supporters of the US Republican Party, whose representative is President Donald Trump, wanted in the upcoming elections to support his main opponent, the most likely Democratic candidate, former vice president Joe Biden. It is reported by CNN.

According to the channel, recently an increasing number of voters who have supported Republicans over the years have expressed dissatisfaction with Trump’s policies and are preparing to cast their votes in favor of Biden. This is largely due to the actions of the current head of state against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic and the protests that swept the American cities after the death of black George Floyd, who died as a result of a brutal arrest by the police.

“I think the last three to six weeks have been a turning point,” Tom Rawles, 70, a 70-year-old resident of Phoenix, Arizona, told CNN. According to him, he and his wife all his life voted for the Republicans and even tried to get into the Congress from the Republican Party, but now plans to support the Democratic candidate. As Rawls noted, Trump can be compared to a cancerous tumor that has hit American politics and needs to be cut out as soon as possible.

In addition, according to CNN, there are still a large number of voters who have not yet decided who they will vote for in the November elections, despite the fact that they had always considered themselves Republicans before.

Earlier it was reported that the initiative group, whose representatives had always always supported Republican candidates or even voted directly for Trump in the 2016 elections, launched a campaign under the slogan “Republican Voters Against Trump.” Within its organization, the campaign recorded about 100 videos in which they called on like-minded moderate Republicans to vote for Biden in the November elections. It was noted that in total they sent about 10 million dollars for these purposes.
