Trump reacts to Supreme Court refusal to hear Texas election lawsuit

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump reacted to the Supreme Court’s refusal to hear Texas’ lawsuit for not recognizing Democrat Joseph Biden’s victory in the last presidential election. The publication is available on Trump’s Twitter page.

The American leader said the court “failed the country” with its decision. “The Supreme Court has truly failed us. No wisdom, no courage!” – Trump wrote.

Earlier, the U.S. Supreme Court rejected a Trump-backed lawsuit that challenged Biden’s election victory. The lawsuit was filed by the state of Texas for non-recognition of voting results in a number of states. The judges dismissed the lawsuit because they found no grounds for Texas to challenge the results of the elections in four other states.

On November 3, the U.S. held another presidential election. The vote count and proceedings are still ongoing. According to media estimates, Biden won the number of electoral votes necessary to win, thus beating Trump. The Democrat has already declared himself the elected president of the United States.
