US President Donald Trump requires The New York Times to disclose a source of information on Russia’s connection with the radical Taliban movement (the organization is banned in Russia). He wrote about this on his page on Twitter.
The head of state said that the publication distributes “fake news” and called for an anonymous source to be revealed.
“I bet they can’t do this, this“ person ”probably doesn’t even exist,” Trump wrote.
Earlier, The New York Times wrote that Russia urged Taliban militants to attack international coalition troops in Afghanistan. The Russian side denies this information, the Taliban movement also claims that the published information is not true.
