Trump said he enjoyed TV debate with Biden

US President Donald Trump said during a speech to voters in Minnesota that he liked the first televised debate with his candidate for office, Joseph Biden. TASS reports.

“I really enjoyed the debate with Sleepy Joe last night <…> The verdict was passed, and they say that we, we, we all won a major victory last night,” the president said.

He added that the debate was the highest-rated in cable TV history, despite having fewer views than in 2016.

Trump also mentioned that he had to debate with two people at once – Biden and presenter Chris Wallace.

“Last night I did what the corrupt media refuse to do. I brought Joe Biden to justice for his 47 years of lies, 47 years of betrayal, 47 years of failure, ”the president summed up.

The first round of Trump-Biden televised debate took place on September 29. The candidates will have two more meetings, and vice presidential candidates Mike Pence and Kamala Harris will also meet once on the air.

The U.S. presidential election will take place on November 3, 2020.
