US President Donald Trump said he was ready to visit Poland, but this is likely to happen after the presidential election in the United States, which is scheduled for November.
“I would really like that. You probably heard that we will have elections, and I probably won’t be able to do this (visit Poland – ed.) Before the end of the elections, but if everything goes well, my answer is absolutely positive “Trump said at a press conference in Washington following talks with Polish President Andrzej Duda.
Last August, the visit of the US president was canceled due to a hurricane in the United States.
In Poland itself, presidential elections will be held this Sunday.
And Trump was asked at the conference if Duda’s visit to Washington would affect their outcome. “I don’t think he needs my help, he’s doing well,” Trump said.
