Trump wanted to join Texas lawsuit to review the election results

The current U.S. president Donald Trump wanted to join the lawsuit of the American state of Texas to revise the results of the presidential election.

It is noted that Trump asked to be included in the suit as an interested party, as an individual and a candidate for re-election.

Earlier, 17 states of the USA supported Texas’ lawsuit in the Supreme Court. The state authorities demanded that the results in the four hesitant states that voted for Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden be invalidated.

Regular presidential elections were held in the USA on November 3, 2020. At present, the counting of the votes and proceedings on this issue are still ongoing. According to the media assessment, Biden won the necessary number of votes to win, thus bypassing Trump. The Democrat has already proclaimed himself elected president of the United States.
