Former U.S. President Donald Trump has no plans to create a new political party. This was announced by an adviser to the campaign staff of the former U.S. leader Jason Miller.
According to him, Trump “made it clear that his goal is to take back the Senate and the House of Representatives to the Republicans in 2022.” Miller stressed that “nothing is planned beyond that effort.”
The Wall Street Journal previously quoted Trump as saying that he was thinking about forming a new political party. The politician has discussed the issue with his aides and other cronies. The creation of a new party will require significant investments.
On January 14, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to impeach former U.S. leader Donald Trump in connection with the recent riots in Washington. The debate lasted more than seven hours. 232 lawmakers voted for Trump’s impeachment for sedition, while 197 voted against.
