Turkish and US Presidents have a telephone conversation

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with his American counterpart Donald Trump, Anadolu Agency reported with reference to the Office of Public Relations of the Presidential Administration of Turkey.

According to information, the heads of state discussed bilateral relations and regional issues, especially the Libyan crisis.

Reportedly, the leaders agreed on close cooperation in establishing peace and tranquility with Libya, which, as noted, has a maritime border with Turkey.

During the conversation, the Turkish leader brought to the attention of the President of the United States the concern that the forces behind acts of violence and vandalism in the United States are collaborating with the terrorist organization PKK / PYD-YPG, operating in northern Syria.
