Five people are missing after two container ships collided at the mouth of the Yangtze River in China.

The incident took place at night on December 13. On board the vessel OCEANA encountered technical problems, after which it crashed into the container ship “Xincisheng 69. As a result, 16 crew members of the latter began to suffer distress. Rescuers arrived in the area of the wreck were able to find and pull out of the water alive 10 people, as well as one dead.

The search and rescue operation is ongoing, involving helicopter and plane. Five people from the vessel Xincisheng 69 are still missing.
