U.S. Administration Does Not Support National COVID-19 Quarantine

The vice president of the USA Mike Pence stated that the present administration does not support the national quarantine on coronavirus.

“President Trump wants me to make it clear to you that our working group, administration and president do not support another national quarantine. Nor do we support school closures,” Pence said at a White House press conference.

At the same time, he said the administration is ready to support concrete measures on the ground as needed.

The incidence of coronavirus is growing again in the U.S., and up to 150 thousand cases are registered daily. In total, more than 11.5 million cases of COVID-19 have already been registered in the U.S., more than 250 thousand people have died.
