U.S. Secretary of State says enmity with China is growing

The new U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken declared a growing enmity with China.

At the same time, the politician noted that Washington and Beijing are cooperating in some areas. “It’s no secret that the relationship between the United States and China is probably the most important relationship we have in the world. They will in many ways shape the future we will all live in,” he said.

However, there are increasingly “some hostile aspects in the relationship between the two countries,” Blinken added.

Earlier, Beijing imposed sanctions against 28 U.S. citizens. The country’s foreign ministry said in a statement that the reason for the restrictions were “insane actions that have become interference in the internal affairs of the PRC and undermine Chinese interests.”
