U.S. Secretary of the Interior contracted a coronavirus

U.S. Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt has been infected with a coronavirus.

Bernhardt is carrying COVID-19 in an asymptomatic form. The secretary will continue to work from home until he receives negative test results.

On Dec. 16, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo went on lockdown after coming into contact with a man sickened by COVID-19.

Last week, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that his lawyer Rudy Giuliani had contracted the coronavirus. In October, the American leader himself and his wife Melania contracted COVID-19. As of December 17, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in the United States is 16.9 million. Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 307,000 people have died in the country.
