The U.S. Supreme Court has been evacuated due to a potential bomb threat.

The incident occurred two hours before the inauguration of U.S. President-elect Joe Biden. The journalist later reported that the threat was not confirmed.

In the United States are feared pogroms due to the storming of the Capitol, which occurred on January 6 during a rally of supporters of the current head of state Donald Trump. Twenty-five thousand National Guard soldiers were sent to guard the capital for the duration of the festivities. Following an FBI review, 12 employees were suspended from participating in Joe Biden’s inauguration, including for ties to extremists.

On January 7, the U.S. Congress confirmed Democrat Joe Biden’s victory in the presidential election. This was preceded by riots and a storming of the Capitol by supporters of incumbent Republican President Donald Trump in which five people were killed. Biden’s inauguration will take place on Wednesday, January 20.
