Unborn baby's music album, recorded in utero, is released

Sacred Bones will release a new album of an unborn baby recorded in the womb.

Luca Yupanqui’s new CD was created using “bio-sonic MIDI technology” to capture her “prenatal essence.” If you haven’t heard of the performer before, that’s because she’s just a baby. In fact, she’s not there yet – she’ll be born soon. Her debut album, titled Sounds of the Unborn, is made using a method of converting her movements into music, through different synthesizers.

The video clip for the first song “V4.3 pt. 2” is still online. The full album will be released on April 2.

Luca’s parents are Psychic Ills bassist Elizabeth Hart and producer Ivan Diaz Mate. They recorded their child’s album for five hours.
