US Attorney General’s Office Investigates Possible Electoral Violations

US Attorney General William Barr has ordered federal attorneys across the country to investigate reports of possible presidential election irregularities, the Associated Press reported, citing a Justice Department document.

Barr noted that investigations should only be conducted if there are “clear and credible allegations of violations,” and if those potential violations could affect the voting results in a state.

Democratic candidate Joe Biden announced his victory in the presidential election on Saturday. Earlier this was reported by the leading American media.

Trump, in turn, said that the elections are still far from over, he intends to defend his own victory in court.
Fox News, citing sources, reported that the incumbent head of state is ready to admit defeat in the elections, but only if the legal processes initiated by his headquarters are unsuccessful.
