Four strategic missile carriers Tu-95MS of the Aerospace Forces of Russia made a planned flight over the neutral waters of the Chukchi, Bering and Okhotsk seas, as well as the North Pacific, the Ministry of Defense told RBC.

Airplanes took off from the airfields of Chukotka and the Amur Region. The flight lasted about 11 hours.

In some areas, the Russian Tu-95MS was accompanied by American F-22 fighters.

“All flights of aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces are carried out in strict accordance with the International Rules for the Use of Airspace,” the military department emphasized.
