In the United States, they conducted a survey of residents on the possibility of introducing special payments to the African-American population.

Citizens were asked if they were ready to compensate for the hard times of slavery for black citizens of the country. The research was conducted jointly by ABC and the Ipsos Research Service.

The survey results showed that only 26 percent of respondents are ready to support payments. It should be noted that mainly among them are African-Americans. 73 percent of respondents voted against being held accountable for acts of white-skinned ancestors.
