The Republican-controlled Senate Homeland Security Committee of the United States supported a resolution calling for documents regarding the work of former Vice President Joe Biden Hunter’s son at Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company.
The request will be sent to Blue Star Strategies, which collaborated with Burisma. The initiator of this decision is the head of the committee, Ron Johnson, reports Deutsche Welle.

Republicans want to initiate an investigation into suspicions that there was a conflict of interest between the work of Hunter Biden in Ukraine and the work of his father in the Ukrainian direction in the Barack Obama administration.

Biden’s headquarters took the Senate committee’s decision negatively, as an attempt by the Republican majority to keep Trump as president.

On the eve of Verkhovna Rada deputy Andrei Derkach published several audio recordings on which, Poroshenko allegedly talks with former US Vice President Joseph Biden and State Department head John Kerry. The MP stressed that the records “testify to the facts of international corruption and high treason at the highest state level.”

On an audio recording, Biden allegedly offers Poroshenko $ 1 billion for the resignation of Attorney General Viktor Shokin.
