The United States values the position of Vladimir Zelensky to strengthen relations between countries. Washington will continue to provide “free and democratic Ukraine” with military and economic support.
The United States will continue to help Ukraine, the US Republican Senator, Co-Chairman of the Council of Ukraine in the Senate, wrote about this on his Twitter page.
Robert Portman wrote that he “had the pleasure” to meet with the newly elected President of Ukraine.
He is committed to strengthening ties with the United States and countering Russian aggression, he said.
The American politician added that as co-chairman of the Council of Ukraine in the Senate, he intends to continue “supporting a free and democratic Ukraine through appropriate military, political and economic assistance to the United States.”
Note, President Donald Trump invited the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to make an official visit to Washington. The head of State has already thanked for the invitation.
