US Vice Presidential Candidate: Trump Prefers To Trust Putin Over Intelligence

US President Donald Trump prefers to believe not his intelligence, which reports on Russia’s interference in the presidential election, but the corresponding statements of Vladimir Putin. This was stated by the candidate for vice-president, Democrat Kamala Harris, reports RBC-Ukraine.

During a debate at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City with Republican Mike Pence, she recalled that she is a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee.

“The American intelligence community told us that Russia interfered in the US presidential elections in 2016 and is trying to do so in 2020. FBI Director Christopher Rey says the same, but Donald Trump prefers to take President Vladimir Putin’s word for it, despite the statements of the American intelligence community, ”she said.

US presidential candidate Joe Biden, during a debate with Trump, called his opponent “Putin’s puppy.”
