Major Wall Street indices soared 1.5-2% on October 5 amid news of President Donald Trump’s recovery and his return to the White House.
To date, the Dow Jones rose 453.96 points (1.64%) to 28 136.77 points, the S&P 500 rose 57.81 points (1.73%) to 3406.25 points, the Nasdaq index increased by 243.30 points (2.20%) to 11,318.32 points.
On October 2, Trump and his wife, Melania, became ill with COVID-19. Melania remained in quarantine at the White House, Donald required hospitalization. Trump returns to the White House on October 5.
