Studio Warner Bros. supported the protests that began after the death of African-American George Floyd, opening up free access to the drama “Just have mercy.”

About this writes Variety.

The drama is based on the real story of a black lawyer Brian Stevenson, who devoted his life and career to the fight for equality in court for the most vulnerable sections of the population. Among them are also poor citizens who are unable to afford a good lawyer who will be interested in a fair verdict.

“We believe in the power of history. Based on the real work of civil rights lawyer Brian Stevenson, our film Just Forgiveness is one of the resources we can humbly offer to those who are interested in learning more about the systemic racism that our society suffers from, ” noted in Warner Bros.
