The third in a series of Vax-A-Million lottery winners in Ohio has been announced. One lucky winner gets $1 million and the other gets a college scholarship.
A Union County man became Ohio’s new millionaire after Wednesday’s third Vax-A-Million drawing. Mark Cline of Richwood was announced as the week three winner, and junior Sara Afaneh of Sheffield Lake in Lorain County won a scholarship. Afaneh is in seventh grade at Brookside High School.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine visited Kline to congratulate him on his win Wednesday and posted some photos on Facebook. DeWine also held a phone conversation between Zoom and Afaneh.
The state will raffle off another two million and two scholarships for those who have been vaccinated against the coronavirus.
