The YouTube application for Android and iOS has a new feature. Users will receive notifications with reminders that it’s time to go to bed.
It was reported in the company’s blog.
Over the past two years, YouTube has launched a set of features that allow users to control how much time they spend watching video, and if you want to correct it.
For example, you can include a reminder that you need to get away from watching the video. It’s also possible to receive notifications about new videos only at a certain amount of time so you don’t get distracted.
And starting today, the YouTube mobile app for Android and iPhone has another feature that helps reduce your time spent watching videos – a reminder that it’s time to go to bed.
You can set the time to receive reminders in the app settings. When you receive a notification, you can accept, reject, or delay the reminder for a while.
How to enable this feature:
- Open the application on YouTube.
- Go to the Notifications section of the application settings.
- Turn on “Remind me when it’s time to go to bed”.
- Set the time to start and end the reminder.
